Little Nightmares is an action-adventure game developed by Little Fish Studios and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It was released in 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation Vita, and later on other platforms.

The game follows the story of a young boy named Mono who lives with his mother above an old lighthouse at the edge of an eerie sea. One night, they are chased by monstrous creatures known as the Pale Twins while trying to escape their home in search only themselves do not know where but certainly away from those pesky twins!

The player controls Mono through increasingly difficult levels filled with puzzles and platforming challenges that must be overcome before reaching safety at end goal: The Signal Tower. Alongside him is Six, an enigmatic girl wearing a yellow raincoat who guides him throughout his perilous journey.

Six's true identity remains largely unknown throughout the game, adding to her mystique as she accompanies Mono through treacherously dark environments filled with terrifying enemies such as giant mechanical spiders and massive hulking creatures that seem straight out of nightmare fuel nightmares themselves!

Throughout their harrowing quest for survival against these monstrous forces hellbent on capturing them both forever trapped within never-ending loops of terror - they slowly begin to unravel more secrets about each other's pasts which ultimately lead towards a heart-wrenching conclusion.

Little Nightmares received generally positive reviews from critics, with praise going toward its atmospheric visuals and sound design, as well as the creepy yet endearing character designs. However some found certain sections too challenging or repetitive, detracting slightly from overall experience but still recommended for fans of survival horror games looking something different than what else is out there today!
